Key responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings, trial balance reviews, and preparation of financial reports in line with IFRS and Lithuanian GAAP.
Oversee compliance with Lithuanian tax laws, manage all tax filings (e.g., VAT, CIT, payroll), and handle statutory reporting to local authorities.
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring documentation, timely completion, and resolution of discrepancies in line with control standards.
Coordinate transfer pricing documentation, execute intercompany invoicing, and support audits with necessary documentation and calculations.
Collaborate on group-level accounting activities, act as process owner for IFRS 16, and ensure lease data integrity across all group entities.
Ensure adherence to group accounting policies and lead local implementation of system or process changes, participating in group accounting initiatives.
Promote effective collaboration with local teams, provide backup in cost/revenue accounting, and support continuous improvement efforts within finance.
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
5–7+ years in accounting roles, preferably in a multinational or matrix organization.
Solid understanding of Lithuanian GAAP, tax laws, and statutory reporting.
Strong experience in IFRS accounting, including lease accounting (IFRS 16).
Excellent knowledge of ERP and financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Fluent in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken).
High level of accuracy and analytical ability.
Proactiveness, collaborative mindset, and capability of working independently.
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) - it's a plus.
