We’re looking for a Health & Safety Specialist to join our Baltic People & Culture team, who will take full ownership of workplace safety across Omniva’s operations in Lithuania. This role is about more than compliance. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve how safety works in practice – ensuring alignment with Lithuanian legislation, Omniva standards, and Baltic-wide initiatives.
You will act as the primary point of contact for all health and safety matters in Lithuania, working closely with the Health & Safety Manager based in Estonia and the People & Culture function across Baltics.
Success in this role means: safer operations, clear and scalable safety processes, and a culture where safety is actively owned – not passively followed.

Own and continuously improve health and safety across Omniva Lithuania
Ensure full compliance with Lithuanian H&S legislation and internal standards
Create practical, scalable safety processes – not just documentation
Identify risks proactively and translate them into clear, actionable improvements
Deliver engaging, practical safety trainings that change behavior
Lead incident investigations with strong root cause analysis and prevention focus
Partner with operations, People&Culture team, and leadership to embed accountability for safety
Lead Labor Inspectorate audits and inspections, ensuring follow-through and measurable outcomes
Build strong, trust-based relationships with regulatory authorities
Improve and streamline H&S tools, systems, and ways of working
Look for opportunities to simplify, automate, and remove unnecessary manual work in safety processes

Proven experience in health and safety management (logistics, production, or similar environment
Strong knowledge of Lithuanian occupational health and safety legislation
Hands-on experience with risk assessments, safety procedures, and incident investigations
Ability to work independently and take ownership of a country-wide scope
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Fluency in Lithuanian and good working proficiency in English
Category B driving license

Compensation & Growth
For this position, the gross monthly salary range is EUR 2300 - 3000 gross, depending on your experience and qualifications.
